Winter League Registration

The plan is to field 4 teams. Teams will be formed via draft format again. See registration page for more details (link below).

Please take a minute to register even if you’ve verbally committed as we need to collect specific information such as jersey number and size (yes, jerseys will be provided!)

By adding a 4th team, we expect to have a few spots open, so if you have any friends interested in playing, have them register so we can save them a spot.

Register at www.gtainline.com/register.

On another note, the standings and stats are updated.

Steven Habbous had a monster game against One Direction and is now sitting in 6th place in scoring.

Jeremy McIntyre managed to score 16 goals and tally 25 secondary assists on the day proving that it is possible for a player to register 2 assists on the same goal.

Danny Modaresi continues his quest to win the scoring title without ever scoring a goal.

And Paul Harjono swears Idan Rozenblit didn’t break his ankles. He meant to fall awkwardly on his ass.

Finally, next week is the last week of the regular season. Playoffs are on December 13th. 2nd place plays 3rd place in the semi-finals at 9:00am and the winner plays 1st place in the finals at 9:45am. Both games will be stop time.

Three-Team, Multi-Player Trade!

The unfortunate season ending injury to player/GM Darren Magpayo of the One Bangers put into motion a series of discussions between the general managers of the One Bangers, 1st Class and One Direction which resulted in a 4-player, three-team trade.

One Bangers’ GM Darren started the evening with the signing of forward/defenceman Steve Habbous from the KHL for the remainder of the season, however the loss of the team’s leading scorer could not end there.  Trades were arranged sending Marco Melia from One Direction to the One Bangers in exchange for Lambert Choi.  From 1st Class went Derrick Lee-Shanok to the One Bangers in exchange for Matthew Lui.

Stated GM Danny Modaresi, “These trades balances out the teams and I foresee many games going to the shootout”.  When asked for comment, GM Paul Harjono said, “It was really Matt Thomasson I was looking to trade, but no one would take him”.

With only six regular season games remaining, analysts predict no further trades happening.  It will be a tight race to secure 1st place and a bye to the finals.
